Warby Parker

Are you looking for amazing new glasses?  This is truly one of my favorite fashion concepts mainly because I have been wearing eyeglasses since I was in the fifth grade.  Back then, eyewear options were ultimately less cool, less trendy and definitely less fun.  Imagine how thrilled I was to come across boutique-style eyewear that is completely affordable.  This is a bonus for someone like me who will always need a pair on hand, and they HAVE to be cute.  (Admittedly, some frames are so cool I might wear them even if I didn’t need them so much).

Warby Parker was launched in 2010 by four friends from Wharton whose goal was to provide high quality, beautifully designed eyewear.  At $95 for a pair of vintage-inspired frames, you can’t lose.  They even have free a home try-on program.  Can you get any better than this?  (Are you sensing my excitement yet?)  You go online, and order five different frames to try on for five days at home.  You receive the glasses via UPS and drop them back in the back when you’re done, and return them the same way.  When you’re done with your five day fashion show, you can purchase your spectacles of choice online.  It’s almost too easy.  The company also partners with a non-profit organization to distribute a pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair sold.  How cool is that?  Very.  I can’t wait to try it.

Thanks for reading, and happy shopping.
