A few of my favorite things

I can hardly explain how much I adore this wallet. I haven’t had a real wallet in so long so this is probably a lot more exciting for me than for most people. After fumbling endlessly through my purse and pockets and dropping little money trails (always swooped and recovered in the knick of time), I went on a quest to find the perfect accessory. It was probably time to graduate from a coin purse, wristlet and even an iPhone “stowaway” case. I’ve always had an aversion to huge wallets so I really needed to find “the one,” if it was going to work for me. (I admit I still like iPhone wallet cases because they are so easy, but this topic will probably be a different post). My internet power search eventually led me to the Carlisle Street Stacy from Kate Spade to which I am now hopelessly devoted. The design is both classic and charming and….oh so perfect. Is it the patent leather polka dot print? The 14-karat light gold plated hardware? The downtown sensibility? It doesn’t matter. It’s so nice, I feel like maybe I should get two so I have a back-up when the first one reaches the point to where it’s seen better days. (Note: This was not a shopping spree. It really was a necessity).
